Statement of Purpose
We've decided to bring back the Black River Tribune because we
believe the Black River Valley is not getting the news coverage it
deserves. We're not putting somebody else's bottom line ahead of our
readers' needs. Like them, we live here, and we care. We also believe
that, no matter the condition of the newspaper industry overall, there
will always be a place for the local weekly paper in most homes.
